How to fertilize Gymnocalycium anisitsii
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Gymnocalycium anisitsii after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What are these brown bits a sign of? Almost looks like something is eating it. The harsh California sun gave it a bit of a sunburn so I’ve been keeping it inside giving lots of indirect sunlight the past few weeks. Maybe more direct sun is needed now? #MoonCactus

One is very firm and dark green and one is very squishy and almost a see through light green. What am I doing wrong? #MoonCactus

Meet Diana. Her left side flower at top seems to be wilting but her shaft looks ok. Should I just cut the top off or is there something else I should be doing to help her out? Thanks for your input! #MoonCactus

My daughter(5) went on a binge of watering every plant around and I was wondering if there was anyway around to save this! It's very sentimental and I will give my daughter credit for at least keeping a routine up! #planttherapy

Hi I’m new! If anyone has any tips for this cactus comment down below! I just bought this little guy just fyi!

What can I do for him?😭 Noooo, Bob got ill😭 Just when I try to do anything right, I do everything wrong. These spots developed after I watered him over a month ago, and some water droplets were left on his skin (and probably in his fur) and I was stupid thinking they would evaporate and didn't think more of it. I went to water him again today, and saw from my previous pictures the spots have grown😭 He is almost 13 years old! I can't lose him now! First pic from when I last watered 25. feb, you can bearly see the stupid waterdroplets. Second pic from today, and last pic from 2 weeks ago. What can I do to help him? #GiantChinCactus #succulentsquad #helpneeded #cactusclique #plantaddict

What’s up with my plant?! I went to go check on it and it’s yellow and brown. Its color is also less vibrant. (The watering thing is not right, I keep forgetting to update it. I watered it like two days ago.)

Hello, up front usually not good at keeping plants alive. Hence why now I have this app. The app says this guy needs more sunlight. It's been outside getting noon to afternoon sun, facing west. Any recommendations?
