Breakfast in America

Breakfast in America, released on March 29, 1979, is Supertramp’s sixth studio album. The album is said to take quite a heavy pop influence while maintaining Supertramp’s identity and sound.

The album is said to contain many ideas that the English band had of the United States at the time, which is particularly highlighted in Gone Hollywood, the title track, and Child of Vision.

Breakfast in America won the 1980 Grammy Award for Best Recording Package, defeating albums by Talking Heads and Led Zeppelin, among others.
