This 1971 MG Midget is finished in yellow and powered by a 1,275cc inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes dual SU carburetors, a black soft top, 13” wire-spoke wheels, chrome bumpers with overriders, and a solid-state AM radio. It was acquired by the seller two years ago and has since been fitted with a replacement soft top, carpeting, and muffler. This Midget is now offered with a clean Washington State title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in yellow with black rocker panels that feature “Midget” script along with a black soft top that was replaced by the seller. Exterior details also include black side mirrors, chrome bumpers with overriders, a locking fuel filler cap, and three windshield wipers that are noted to be inoperable. The seller describes touched-up paint chips and states that the right turn signal turns on but does not blink.

Painted 13” wire wheels are mounted with 155/80 Ironman GR906 tires, and a spare and jack are housed in the trunk.

The cabin houses seats trimmed in navy fabric with gray centers along with black vinyl door panels. The carpeting was replaced during current ownership, and amenities include a solid-state AM radio, crank windows, and a polished parking brake handle.

A leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 100-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 63k miles, approximately 6k of which were added by the seller, who notes that the tachometer is prone to sticking. Total mileage is unknown.

The 1,275cc inline-four is fitted with dual SU carburetors and was factory rated at 65 horsepower and 72 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes areas of corrosion in the engine bay.
