Pomatocalpa wendlandorum (Rchb. f.) J.J. Sm. 1912: This orchid blooms in the spring and is found in the Thailand, Himalayas, Myanadar and the Andaman Islands. Its 13 cm long leaves bloom on a lateral to arcuate line. A lateral to arcuate line is a curved, bow-like line that runs laterally across the leaf of the orchid. Pomatocalpa wendlandorum is a synonym for Pomatocalpa spicata Breda, which are usually yellow with reddish-brown blotches as shown in the photo on the right.

Good start!
Suggestions:
The categorization is great. Take some of the key words in you post and add them as Tags. This helps those interested in certain topics to find particular posts.
The flower size on it’s own above the flowers (it looks like you copy/pasted from the Orchid Encyclopedia website) is awkward. Descriptive info should be included together in sentence form.
Try to eliminate the double spacing of the taxonomic list (in fact, you don’t need it). Also, that is not the plant’s common name. It is just a translation of the scientific name into english.
Define “lateral to arcuate line”
Any scientific names should be italicized (and recheck the spelling on the synonymous name).
All images should have captions (see Ceratochilus biglandulosus post).
I would also look to see if there is more info with which to flesh out your post… any known pollinators, which genera are most closely related (what evidence was used to suggest that), etc.
