Flower Size 2/5" x 1 1/5" [1 cm x 3 cm]
Found in Assam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia in evergreen, semi-deciduous and deciduous dry lowland forests and savana-like woodlands at elevations of sealevel to 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing, bifoliate epiphyte with flattened at the bottom, ovate psuedobulbs, 2" + apart on a woody rhizome carrying 2, apical, bilobed at the apex, elliptical leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a basal, slender, 8 to 12" [20 to 30 cm] long inflorescence with an umbel of [5 to 10], successive opening flowers held at the apex, arising well above the leaves.
