The area: Large Customer Sales
The regional Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams partner closely with our major advertising clients and agencies to develop digital solutions that build our clients' businesses and brands. We are in a unique and exciting position to shape how marketing and business is conducted in the digital age. We generate revenue from across Google's broad range of solutions, from Google AdWords, to YouTube, to Mobile, that help our customers connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences and get the most out of the web.
The role: Agency Trainer
Reach for new revenue-generating heights as a Sales Googler. Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
You will work together with the Agency Relationship Managers, Vertical Account Managers, Strategists, and Industry Managers to evaluate level of product knowledge in our agency network and work on customised training roadmaps for agencies. You will educate about and drive the adoption of Google’s ad-tools and products within Agencies. You will train different groups of agency key contacts in smaller and larger groups. You will proactively identify and solve Agency problems by providing technical solutions and answers to questions regarding our adtools. You will work together with the Agency Relationship Managers and the Heads of Agency to develop and implement an Agency training program around ad-tools and products.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a business consultant with partners from Sales, Sales Leadership, Product Management, Product Marketing, Learning & Development. Liaising closely with the Global Agency Education team and ensuring APAC's needs are addressed and represented.
- Develop and deliver educational initiatives across a variety of instructional methods from Instructor-Led to Web-based, and eLearning.
- Prioritize learning needs in a way that balances short- and long-term cycles, resource constraints, and anticipated impact to the business.
- Assess performance gaps and identifying root causes when training is not the best solution. Proposing, developing, and implementing solutions that solve for specific business problems.
- Develop training collateral aligned with the Global Content specialist teams and tailor to meet the needs of specific APAC markets. Develop and facilitating training initiatives across a variety of instructional methods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience).
- 4 years of relevant work experience including technical training and/or product training as demonstrated by work/course samples and experience with elearning and training development tools and programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in successfully designing, developing, delivering and improving high-quality learning solutions.
- 1 year agency experience in media side or relevant internet marketing experience.
- Fluent in English and Thai.
